One studio. Twenty-two beloved books. Real learning hidden in every tap.
Be The Monster was founded by Faisal Sethi and his daughter Neko, three years old at the time and still our toughest critic.
Faisal is also the founder and CEO of Frosty Pop, the indie studio behind dozens of beloved games. The son of immigrant parents who became teachers, he grew up knowing learning was the family business. Then came a kid of his own, and with her a new obsession. Learning for fun, and playing to learn.
Renée Jordan is our lead educator. She holds a Master of Arts in Applied Educational Psychology from Columbia University.
She keeps us honest. Every game is mapped to arts, literacy, and S.T.E.M. categories aligned to CDC milestones. Learning disguised as play, and reports that show what they played and practiced.

Grounded in the science of how young children think, feel, play, and grow.
Letters and numbers, sure. Also feelings, motor skills, communication, problem-solving, and creative expression. Every game is designed for all of it.
Kids explore, experiment, and build meaning through mini games and open-ended play. They think it’s recess. It’s actually practice.
No lockstep path, no rigid progression. Children follow their curiosity, and that autonomy builds confidence, motivation, and deep engagement.
Phonics, counting, patterns, and spatial concepts, built in developmentally and playfully, always inside joyful, meaningful contexts.
We care how children think, not just what they memorize. Comparing, predicting, planning, and problem-solving beat recall.
Tapping, dragging, pinching, and flicking build fine motor skills. Rhymes build language. Every touch has developmental value.
It all hangs on one framework. S.T.E.M., arts, and literacy woven through every game, aligned to CDC milestones and research-backed early-learning frameworks.
“One of our core missions is to serve new generations with unforgettable moments of joyful learning. This app allows us to give 2-8 year olds an entirely new way to experience the characters they know and love, on a platform that parents can trust.”
“Dr. Seuss’s line is deceptively hard to get right, and most of what makes one of his pages work is what he chose to leave off it. We reviewed this app closely, and the team behind it understood that. The art and animation meet the standard we hold for Dr. Seuss’s work.”
Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P. licenses the Dr. Seuss characters and stories to Be The Monster Inc., which develops, operates, sells, and supports Dr. Seuss: Learn & Play. Dr. Seuss Enterprises does not operate the app or collect information through it.
800 million books sold in 100+ countries. Eighty years teaching children to read. And for 1 in 4 kids, the first book they ever hold is a Dr. Seuss book.
That’s the legacy we build on. Twenty-two of those Dr. Seuss books & characters, reimagined as games, so the stories that shaped you can shape them too.
