Essential cookies support sign-in and a brief account-deletion notice:

• Portal Session Cookie

  Keeps you signed in to the parent portal after you log in.

• Account Deletion Notice Cookie

  Set for five minutes after you delete your account, so the goodbye page can remind you about any active subscription. It expires on its own.

None of these cookies follow you across other websites.

One footnote for completeness: our own staff sign in to an internal admin area on this site, and that sign-in sets a few additional login and preference cookies. They exist only for our team. Parents and visitors never receive them.

No advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers.

Public-page interaction analytics are separate from the mobile app. The parent portal and staff admin area receive only error and performance diagnostics, not interaction tracking. Your analytics cookie choice also applies to these diagnostics.

We use c15t to remember your privacy choice in a necessary cookie and browser local storage. These preferences stay in your browser; we do not send them to a hosted c15t service.

PostHog helps us understand visits and clicks on public pages. Cookieless analytics starts before you choose. Accepting enables analytics cookies, browser storage, session recordings, and surveys. Rejecting continues analytics in cookieless mode, without analytics cookies, session recordings, or surveys. Cookieless analytics still sends events to PostHog.

Use Privacy Settings in the page footer to change your choice. Rejecting analytics cookies does not prevent you from using the site.

Gift purchases run through Stripe’s hosted checkout, an external page that Stripe operates. While you’re on that page, Stripe sets its own cookies under its own cookie policy.

We chose a hosted checkout on purpose: it means full card numbers never touch our servers.
